Successful day:
We have modeled a simple Ursa minor rocket and we have cut fins for it. We are in the process of air foiling them.
We have sent images to NASA to print new fins for Major's rocket as well as motor mount and centering ring assemblies for ursa minor's rocket.
Eliot has cut a nosecone and body tube for Major, he will cut tubes for minor tonight.
Tomorrow (12/17) we will need to airfoil the fins for minor and begin marking body tubes. We also need to get masses of parts and begin to correct the simulations to reflect actual masses.
Friday will be the BIG day. I am hoping that we have all of our parts and will do our final builds. We will likely need to fly unpainted on Saturday.
I want to focus on precision and craftsmanship before we worry about anything else. We need to present ourselves as the most technologically savy and professional group in WV.
